  • What do you mean by ‘home ownership’ or ‘buy to let’?
Home ownership is a form of housing tenure where the person owns the home. This can happen by purchasing the home with cash, inheriting/gift or obtaining a mortgage. Rent to buy: You enter a contract with the developer/ house owner to pay rent for a period of time. After that period you can purchase the home.
  • What do you mean by ‘culturally-appropriate’?
Culturally Appropriate is a respectful system of communication and engagement in Aboriginal Lore. We use this system in our engagement with community and designing our built environment.
  • Can Studio Kinship speak directly to my ACCO?
Absolutely. This will be executed in a Culturally appropraite way WITH STUDIO KINSHIP remaining in neutral space
  • Are mortgages part of the Studio Kinship model?
Home ownership is part of the SK model. We will work with you to help you get your deposit and get a mortgage. There are many different ways to do this.
  • How do I maintain a Studio Kinship house?
Studio Kinship will provide you with a plain English manual. We will support you with training on country and stocks. Our homes are very low maintenance so this will be easy.
